Minutes: The Committee considered a report regarding offences committed by Mr AR.
Mr AR was accompanied by a legal representative who addressed the Committee.
Mr AR stated that the offence had occurred following the dropping off of difficult customers. Mr AR apologised for his behaviour towards Council staff.
Resolved: (i) That, in accordance with the Council’s policy and Guidelines, Mr AR’s Dual Driver’s Licence be revoked.

Minutes: The Committee considered a report regarding an application for renewal of a Dual Driver’s Licence by Mr MT.
Mr MT was accompanied by his son-in-law who addressed the Committee.
Mr MT gave an explanation for the offences committed which were accepted by the Committee
Resolved: That, subject to Mr MT retaking and completing the knowledge test, a licence be granted for a period of twelve months. Subject to there being no further issues during this time, the licence will be extended for a further two years without the requirement for Mr MT to attend a meeting. |

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act - 1976 Driver – Mr SIM Additional documents:
Minutes: The Committee considered an application for a new Dual Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence Mr SIM
Mr SIM was accompanied by his wife but spoke on his own behalf.
Mr SIM stated that, at the time, he was unaware that he was committing an offence.
Resolved: That Mr SIM be granted a licence together with a strong written warning as to his future conduct.

Minutes: The Committee considered an application for renewal of a Dual Carriage and Private Hire Vehicle Driver’s Licence for Mr KI.
Mr KI was accompanied by his wife but spoke on his own behalf.
Mr KI stated that the offence had been a genuine mistake and that it wouldn’t happen again. However, the information accompanying the application indicated that it had happened again after the original offence.
Resolved: That, in view of the nature and seriousness of convictions, the Committee, having considered those circumstances and taken into account its policy and guidelines, refused Mr KI’s application.

Minutes: The Chair, Councillor Robinson advised the Committee that the following driver had, on occasions, been his taxi driver. No ‘interest’ was identified.
The Committee considered a report regarding an application for renewal of a Dual Driver’s Licence by Mrs JEP.
Mrs JEP was given the opportunity to address the Committee.
Mrs JEP stated that she wasn’t aware that speeding offences had to be reported to the licensing authority.
Resolved: That a licence be granted for a period of twelve months. Subject to there being no further issues during this time, the licence will be extended for a further two years without the requirement for Mrs JEP to attend a meeting.
