No objections, but Councillor Miss Cooper wished it to be considered at the next meeting in case further information is received.

Stoke and Staffs Fire & Rescue Service.

Approval of access, appearance, landscaping, layout and scale for erection of community fire station (11/00475/OUT)

Store rear of Mellards Warehouse, Market Lane, Newcastle.

Mr W Mercer.

Conversion of existing former warehouse to rear of Mellards Warehouse to create ground and first floor office and café.

No objections, but Members sought a condition requiring building recording to be carried out during the works.

The Guildhall, High Street, Newcastle.

Installation of out of hours police help point on NW entrance of The Guildhall.

The Working Party objected to the application due to the impact on the appearance of the building and the damage that would be caused to the fabric of the building.

Nat West Bank, 75 High Street, Newcastle.

Royal Bank of Scotland Group.

Replacement signage and ATM surrounds.

The Working Party objected to the application due to the amount of signs proposed.  They also advised that ‘hanging signs’ as opposed to ‘box signs’ should be proposed.
