To outline the new legislation - The Redress Schemes for Lettings Agency Work and Property Management Work (Requirement to belong to a scheme etc) (England) Order 2014, and The Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Alarm (England) Regulations 2015.
To delegate authority to appropriately qualified housing officers to ensure that the Council is ready and prepared to deal with any breaches ensuring tenants in the borough are appropriately protected.
