LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 2 Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. The applicant was in attendance.
After careful consideration of the application along with the Department for Transport’s Statutory Standards and the Council’s policy and guidelines, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows.
Resolved: That the Private Hire Operator Licence be granted under two conditions:
- that the applicant retains the current business model of chauffeuring and executive work; - that the applicant remains as a sole trader and does not employ other drivers under the operator’s licence to carry out the work. |
