DISCLOSURE OF EXEMPT INFORMATION

To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the attached report, because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Resolved:-                That the public be excluded from the meeting during

consideration if the following matter because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1,2 and 7 contained within Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act, 1972

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 1

The Sub-Committee considered a matter relating to a Dual Driver Licence.

 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

 

Resolved:     That the Dual Driver’s licence be suspended, with immediate effect, for a period of twelve weeks.  In addition, a very strict warning be issued stating that any further offences would result in the driver being brought back in front of this Committee where it would be likely that the licence would be revoked.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 2

The Sub-Committee considered a renewal application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence.  The application was before the Sub-Committee as the application process had revealed a matter that fell within the Council’s Licensing Policy.

 

After careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

 

Resolved:     That the application for Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire

 Driver’s Licence be granted.
