After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officers and representations received from the applicant and his representative, the Sub Committee agreed:

Resolved:     That the application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence be granted, but not issued until the driver had attended and completed the Council’s Knowledge Test and Safeguarding training.  The certificates were then to be presented to the Council’s Licensing Department.   The Licence would then be issued, along with a warning that it was the driver’s responsibility to ensure that all documentation was correct and submitted on time and that all relevant convictions must be included.
