DISCLOSURE OF EXEMPT INFORMATION

To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the attached report, because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

 

Minutes:

Resolved:     That the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following matter because it was likely that there would be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 contained within Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act, 1972.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 1

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. The applicant and his representative were in attendance.

 

After careful consideration of the discussion, the officers’ report, the Department for Transport’s Statutory Standards and the Council’s policy and guidelines, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows.

 

Resolved:     That the application for a Private Hire Vehicle Licence be refused.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 2

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. The applicant failed to attend the meeting.

 

After careful consideration of the officers’ report, the Department for Transport’s Statutory Standards and the Council’s policy and guidelines, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows.

 

Resolved:     That the Dual Driver Licence be revoked.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 3

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. The applicant was in attendance.

 

After careful consideration of the discussion, the officers’ report, the Department for Transport’s Statutory Standards and the Council’s policy and guidelines, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows.

 

Resolved:     That the application for a Private Hire Operator Licence be refused.

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 4

Minutes:

The Sub-Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. The applicant was in attendance.

 

The Sub-Committee agreed as follows.

 

Resolved:     That the discussion be deferred to the next meeting.
