To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the attached report, because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

Resolved:-                That the public be excluded from the meeting during

consideration if the following matter because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1,2 and 7 contained within Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act, 1972

The Sub Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

Resolved:     That the Dual Driver’s licence be revoked. 

The Sub Committee considered a new application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence. 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and their representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

Resolved:     That the application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire

Driver’s licence be refused.

The Sub Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

Resolved:     That no action be taken against the Dual Driver’s licence but a requirement to produce documentation to the Licensing Department needed to be met. 

The Sub Committee considered a relevant matter which fell outside of Council Policy. 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

Resolved:     That the Dual Driver’s licence be suspended, pending completion of a professional driving course. 

To consider any business which is urgent within the meaning of Section 100(B)4 of the Local Government Act.
