Minutes: The Sub-Committee considered a renewal application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence. The application was before the Sub-Committee as the application process had revealed a matter that fell within the Council’s Licensing Policy. After careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows: Resolved: That the application for Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence be granted.

The application was before the Sub-Committee as the application process had revealed a matter that fell outside the Council’s Licensing Policy. After careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and their representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows: Resolved: That the application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s licence be granted subject to the applicant taking and passing the Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council Knowledge Test.
