To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the attached report, because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1, 2 and 7 in Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act 1972.

consideration of the following matter because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs 1,2 and 7 contained within Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Local Government Act, 1972

LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT - 1976 - APPLICANT 1

The Sub-Committee considered a renewal application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s Licence that had revealed a conviction that fell within the Council’s Licensing Policy.   

 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and their representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

 

Resolved: that the application be granted but the driver be issued with a final warning and that any further offences will require them to appear before a meeting of the Sub-Committee.

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and their representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

 

Resolved: that the Driver be issued with a warning and that any further offences will require them to appear before a meeting of the Sub-Committee.

The Sub-Committee considered an application for a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence that had revealed a matter that fell within the Council’s Licensing Policy. 

 

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from the applicant and their representative, the Sub-Committee agreed as follows:

 

Resolved: that the application be refused on the grounds of policy relating to the vehicle criteria.
