Driver - SI

Additional documents:

Minutes:

The Sub Committee considered an application from SI for a new Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Driver’s licence.  The application was considered as a new application as a complete set of renewal documents had not been submitted before the expiry of the previous licence.  In addition, the application process had revealed convictions that fell within the requirements of the Council’s licensing policy.

After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officer and representations from SI and his representative the Sub Committee agreed as follows:

RESOLVED: that

(a)  The licence be granted subject to the completion of the Newcastle under Lyme Borough Council Knowledge Test and will be issued on receipt of the appropriate certificate showing that the Test has been duly completed; and

(b)  The driver be issued with a warning as to future conduct due to inaccuracies in the application process.
