Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act - 1976 - FM Driver – FM Additional documents:
Minutes: The Sub Committee considered the question of whether a new application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers licence should be granted.
The question arose because it had come to the Council’s attention during the application process that the applicant had a number of convictions from 2018, 2010 and 2011; these being matters that fell within the Council’s guidelines for the relevance of convictions.
In addition, the applicant had failed to provide all relevant documentation meaning his application was incomplete.
After very careful consideration of information from the Council’s Licensing Officers and representations from the applicant and his solicitor, the Sub Committee agreed as follows:
Resolved: that (a) The application for a Dual Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Drivers Licence be granted; and (b) The applicant be sent a warning letter reminding him that all conditions of the licence must be complied with at all times and all elements of the Knowledge Test must likewise be adhered to.
