To resolve that the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of the following reports, because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in the paragraphs of Part 1 of Schedule 12A (as amended) of the Local Government Act 1972.

Resolved:-                That the public be excluded from the meeting during

consideration if the following matter because it is likely that there will be disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraphs contained within Part 1 of Schedule 12A (as amended) of the Local Government Act, 1972.

There were no apologies.

There were no declarations of interest stated.

Resolved:     That the Minutes of the meeting held on 17 January, 2018 be agreed as a correct record.

Consideration was given to a report to set up a Panel to deal with current employment matters.  The Panel would consist of three Borough Councillors (including one member of the Cabinet) and would be supported by three officers independent of the Borough Council.

Resolved:     That an Investigation and Disciplinary Panel be established comprising Councillors’  Paul Northcott, Ken Owen and a nominee from Tony Kearon.

To consider any business which is urgent within the meaning of Section 100B (4) of the Local Government Act 1972.

There was no urgent business.
