Application for a Review of a Premise Licence Talke News

Decision:

The Committee considered it to be appropriate for the promotion of the licensing objectives to take the following steps:

  • Firstly, the premises licence be suspended for a period of 2 weeks to amongst other things enable the Premises Licence Holder to train all staff in the licensing objectives.

  • Secondly, that the conditions set out on page 16 of the agenda be imposed, together with a further condition that any approaches made direct to the management by sellers calling to the shop with alcoholic goods be reported direct to Trading Standards, together with descriptions of these sellers and any other relevant details which were reasonably obtainable

  • Finally, the Committee warned the Premise Licence Holder about his future conduct and specified that any further sales of or supply of illicit alcohol could result in a further review of the premises licence and possible revocation of the licence.
