Members stood in silent tribute to the memory of Alderman Chris Malkin.  Tributes were paid to Alderman Malkin for his commitment and hard work in the Borough during his time as a Councillor and Macebearer.

Councillor Simon Tagg moved and Councillor Dave Jones seconded that  Marion Reddish,  Mark Olszewski, Kyle Robinson-Payne, Julie Cooper, Elizabeth Shenton, Silvia Burgess, June Walklate, Sandra Simpson, Mary Maxfield and Tony Kearon be appointed as Honorary Aldermen for the Borough of Newcastle under Lyme.

Resolved:     That the following be appointed as Honorary Aldermen for the

                        Borough of Newcastle under Lyme.

                        Julie Cooper
