Minutes:

Members were asked to consider the funding criteria attached to the report as appendices 1 and 2.

The Panel were advised that last year’s budget had an underspend of £12,000 which automatically carried over into the current financial year.  Castle Sport had suggested to use  a proportion of the money to put on a mass sports participation event at the Lyme Valley Park in April/May 2017 and to possibly make it an annual event.  The Panel agreed that it was a good idea and the Chair stated that she would like to be involved and to invole the current Mayor with regard to archery events.

The Panel considered ten applications, with the Newcastle Advisory Sports Council recommendations.
