Additional documents:

Minutes:

Resolved:     That the following observations be made:

Dougy Cottage, Aston Manor Barns 24/00588/FUL & 24/00613/LBC

The Working Party had no objections.

Bourne Cottage, The Avenue, Kidsgrove  24/00582/FUL & 24/00583/LBC

The Working Party did not consider that there would be any detrimental impact to the main Cottage and therefore had no objections.

Open Market, High Street, Newcastle  24/00336/DEEM3

The Working Party supported the principle of a screen in the Town Centre but some of the Group felt that the proposed location was inappropriate due to the impact on the Conservation Area and in particular, views of the Guildhall. Additional information was requested on what alternative locations had been considered and, in particular, whether a screen could be placed on a building rather than being free-standing.

Queens Gardens, Castle house, Newcastle  24/00611/DEEM3

The Group considered that the statue would be a great asset to the Queens Gardens, the Conservation Area and the Town Centre.

105, High Street, Newcastle  24/00610/DEEM3

Members were concerned about the loss of the chimney and felt that the structural issues with the chimney could potentially be resolved in another way.
