The Hawthorns, Keele    20/00506/FUL

 

 

 

 

The Working Party supports the principle of the extension and feel that it is a modest extension but feel that the proposed windows do not work well with the existing side elevation on the main house and should be reconsidered and possibly simplified.  They generally supported the use of an unpainted red brick finish but wanted to ensure that the brick matched the brickwork on the porch on the main house.  They also supported a better design for the new entrance door including the lintel style of door and door furniture.

 

The Barn, 9a The Village, Keele  20/00478/FUL

 

The Working Party is generally happy with this approach to extend the barn providing the bricks are a good match.  They want to ensure that the window details complement the existing windows.
