Minutes:

Resolved:- That the following observations be made on the applications listed below:-

4 Highway Lane, Keele. 16/00368/FUL

The Working Party whilst welcoming the removal of the existing timber lean to feature, considered that the design would be improved by the inclusion of low brick walls in the extension, rather than the proposed full height glazed panels

Bougheys Mill, Nantwich Road, Audley.   16/00438/FUL

The Working Party whilst not being concerned about the location of the proposed building relative to the setting of the Listed building, expressed the view that the appearance and character of the building, being akin to a small dwellinghouse with its dominant rooflights,  was not sympathetic to the location

Land adjacent to Old Farm, Main Road, Betley.  16/00350/REM.

The Working Party are concerned that the building should be positioned closer to the road, to reflect the prevailing pattern of development, including the adjacent Listed farmhouse, and that its access should be taken, not from the corner as proposed, but from further up the track leading off the Main Road .

Mow House Farm, Church Lane, Mow Cop.  16/00295/FUL

.

The Working Party had no objection to the additional buildings recognising the impact of the existing equestrian building upon the setting of the Listed Farmhouse, but wished to see appropriate controls imposed upon the design of the manege and any associated lighting.
