Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act - 1976 SRH Additional documents:
Minutes: The Committee considered a report regarding an application for the renewal of a Hackney Carriage Vehicle Licence by SRH.
The application was deferred from the previous meeting. SRH was not in attendance and the application was heard in his absence.
Resolved: That the decision taken by the Chair of the Public Protection Committee, to refuse the Hackney Carriage licence application be noted. |

Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act - 1976 TT Additional documents:
Minutes: The Committee considered a report regarding a new application for a Private Hire Vehicle Licence by Mr GC together with a request concerning the vehicle which would be a departure from the Council’s policy.
Mr GC was given the opportunity to address the Committee.
Resolved: That, in accordance with the Council’s policy and guidelines and subject to a copy of the licence and a notice stating that an exemption had been granted being displayed inside the vehicle, the application and request be approved.

Resolved: (i) That the development of a national database of taxi driver licence refusals suspensions and revocations be noted.
(ii) That participation in the national database be approved. |
