The Panel considered four applications, three for Small Grants and one for a Community Chest Grant.

The Parish Council should be asked if there was any monies within their precept that was not ringfenced.

 

The cost of the Condition Survey should be ascertained and this amount awarded from the Community Chest fund.  Ascertained as £650.00.

 

SMALL GRANTS:

 

 

 

Rideout (Creative Arts for Rehabilitation)

A separate application had also been submitted under Cultural Grants.

 

The Panel agreed that this application (Small Grants) be awarded in full and that the Council’s Partnerships Officer advise them of other sources of funding.

 

Although this was the final meeting of the Panel, they requested that more information on the project be obtained and also information in how the grant is spent.

 

Information requested satisfactorily obtained on the project and how the grant would be spent.

Medanaid / Community First Responder PPE and Medical Equipment

Confirmation is required of how much of the equipment is to be used within the Borough.  If half is to be used then 50% be awarded and so on.

 

Confirmation received that 100% of the equipment would be used in the Audley & Kidsgrove areas of the Borough.

Members requested that it be ensured that The Borough was targeted for this activity.  Also a request was made for the annual membership cost and the cost of hiring the leisure centre.
