Resolved:-That the following observations be made on the applications listed below:-

Bookshop, Union Square, Keele University  17/00401/ADV

No objections.

5 Wilbrahams Walk, Audley  17/00314/FUL

The Working Party acknowledged the improvement in the replacement windows from the current upvc casements to the woodgrain, cream sliding sash windows.  These will be more in keeping with the character of the house and will have a positive effect on the appearance of the Conservation Area.

Berachah House, 51 Quarry Bank Road, Keele  17/00456FUL

The Working Party has no objections to the proposals but thinks that the colour choice of the new door should be a darker and more recessive colour rather than white.

Brooklyns (Former Ironmarket Pub), Ironmarket

Minutes:

The Conservation Officer informed the Working Party that the decision for the adverts was a split decision with the high level sign being refused and the applicant given 3 months to remove it.  The date when the Council can consider enforcement action is from 6th July and officers keep the group informed of progress.
